Bought groupon offer for the 60 minute swedish massage. It was yet another success by knowing this salon through groupon. I loved the massage service by Whitney. Located between Green St and Polk, finding parking space is very challenging.
Loved their ambiance with the natural light setting in, smells great, friendly staff. Whitney's massage was blissful. Will definitely use their services again. Its worth it =)

I would give zero stars if I could. Although the space is lovely, I got a horrible infected ingrown toenail after my pedi. I had it looked at by a doctor and he diagnosed it. The manager was very rude and refused to believe it was an ingrown toenail even though it was red, swollen and seeping puss. She wouldn't refund my money for the service.

I spoke with the owner twice, and she agreed to refund my money, but never did. The aggravation of dealing with the staff was as bad as the toe infection.

Decided to check out the bikini wax based the amazing recommendations here on Yelp. Lauren was incredibly sweet and very professional. Loved the ambiance of the place.

Unfortunately, the wax not only caused my skin to tear and bleed during the waxing (she didn't charge me, which was incredibly considerate and I give major props for that), but resulted in MANY ingrown hairs and even worse, a skin reaction that required an expensive doctor's visit and a prescription to cure. I've had several bikini waxes at various places without any of these problems, so I'm not quite sure what is going on with the wax there. Just wanted to warn those of you with sensitive skin!

I had been here one time when it first opened and it was a treat! It was beautiful inside, the staff was friendly, and overall it was a very relaxing experience.

I usually go to my neighborhood place where I can pay $25 for a quick but great mani/pedi. But when my mom had her 60th birthday, I decided to take her somewhere extra special.

Well, that extra special experience turned out to be a nightmare. Not only was the staff rude, and they rushed us out of the place (our appointments were at 10:45 am), but we both got a fungus under our toenails! It was my mom's first time with a mani/pedi, and I felt terrible that this was her experience.
Needless to say I will never go back! Save your money and go somewhere else.

I received a gift card for Teashi a while back and finally decided to use it recently. It was a Saturday afternoon and the friendly gal at the front counter was nice enough to squeeze me in between appointments for a mani/pedi.

It's been a little over 2 weeks and my mani/pedi is still looking great. Your experience really depends on who you get. The woman who did my mani was really sweet and the woman who did my pedi had no face expression whatsoever. She didnt even bother greeting me when she came- I didnt really get a friendly vibe from her. Perhaps it was a bad day? Meh.

If you don't want to end up like Paula Abdul, come here. All tools are sterizlied prior to use and the spa chairs are ceramic sinks with running water. Clean everytime.

It's $15 for mani and $30 for pedi. It's a bit more but a load safer...thus, worth it.

Four stars b/c they autoclave all the stuff they don't give to you to take home. And their pedicure chairs are sinks - which means they don't have dirty, bacteria harboring drains like the normal spa chairs. Sort of pricey - but after the cnn.com article I read about people getting permanently disfigured from the diseases they caught from spa chairs here in the bay area, it's well worth the extra $$. Plus it's girlie and cute inside, they do a good job and they make a mean cup of citrus tea.

I am removing a star and no longer patronizing Teashi. At $65 for a mani and pedi with a 24 hour cancellation policy and credit card now required to hold a nail appointment, I think Teashi has grown too big for it's britches! I mean come on, this is a NAIL salon, not a spa. Sure they have someone upstairs doing massage, but it is not and never will be on the level of Nob Hill Spa or the like. I switched to Silks...more comfortable chairs and just as clean...and for about half the price!

A friend of mine loves this spot. I think it's the wallpaper. I made appointments this weekend for myself and the boy to get Mani/Pedi's together and while the service was OK, it was NO $50 a pedicure spa! Oh god no.

Everything was all sunshine and flowers as they seated us and proceeded to give us each others reserved treatments. I had reserved the Green Tea treatment - and he the Coconut one, but they totally mixed us up even though one has a decidedly MALE name and the other a FEMALE name. For a $50 pedicure, wouldn't you think they would confirm that you wanted X or Y?

Either way, we both have cute feet now.

As soon as the girls were done with the treatment, they were OUTTA there. No, helping over to the drier, no helping on with the shoes, no "thanks for stopping by".

Just a tossing of the tip envelopes as they moved on.

Dude. I just paid $95 ($75 plus $20 tip - I know - why did I tip so well??) for a mani/pedi. I need a bit more affection for that price! Plus! I was totally looking forward to a deep condition to get my peds all soft and sexy. Instead, my boy has the soft sexy feet. Do I need to explain the problem here?

I think I'll stick with my local nail salon. The wall paper isn't as pretty, but the service is Much Better and I doubt I would ever walk in for an appointment for one thing and get a different treatment and I would NEVER have to carry my own stuff to th dryer with wet nails.

I had the deluxe pedicure here on a Sunday. Tram was quiet and so gentle I fell asleep, but too gentle for any serious callous removal, which is what I came for. Her file lacked teeth - either it was worn out or the callous softening serum made it too slippery to get a grip on my skin.

Relaxing ambience. Light and airy interior with baroque upholstery. Seems sanitary, with autoclaved instruments in sealed packets and a separate in-ground sink for each client. The grout on the tiles could use some mildew remover though and the cushions ought to be dry-cleaned. This place is definitely showing some wear and tear, so don't look too closely.

All the manicurists/pedicurists are asian females. They talk in their own language so you won't have to hear all their snide comments about you.

      Tips accepted in cash only.

D and I have made it our business to get regular manis in preparation for a BIG time shoot.

What an adorable place! Teashi is relaxing and clean, and what about the cutest little french bulldog who greets you? LOVE it. It was only my second time visiting, so holding back on the fifth star until I have some more consistent experiences. D is easily persuaded, so hopefully we'll be back soon.
