Alert: Change Healthcare outage
On Feb. 21, 2024, Change Healthcare, a Magellan vendor, experienced a cyber security incident that resulted in nationwide product outages impacting payers, providers and pharmacies. Change Healthcare provides claim payment services for Magellan through its subsidiary, ECHO Health, Inc. Additionally, some providers use Change Healthcare's clearinghouse to submit claims to Magellan.
