Daniel Universal Prophecy/Prophecies of World Empires

Daniel Chapter 2

Nebuchadnezzar dreams of a statue with a 
head of gold, an upper torso of silver, a lower torso of bronze, legs of iron and feet of iron mixed with clay.
Then he sees the end of the ages and the succession of world empires by the God of Heaven’s Kingdom.

Daniel Chapter 7

The prophecy of four beasts symbolizing kings and 
sovereignties 
who are given rulership on Earth.
The divine court sits and the books are opened.
Then all sovereignty is given to one “like a son of man”
and the holy ones of the Most High God inherit the kingdom of Earth.

Daniel Chapter 8

A continuation on Chapter 7 regarding world empires, 
but given two to three years later. Chapter 8 starts with Medo-Persia
and continues to Greece. Rome is alluded to in that it stands against the Prince of Princes.  Greece and Rome are regarded as one,
as we also do today when we speak of the Greco-Roman empire. 
Daniel is devastated by the vision and doesn’t understand it.

Daniel Chapter 9

Several months after the vision of Chapter 8, Daniel confesses his sins and those of Israel in the hope that there will be only 70 years to the restoration. 
Gabriel is sent to Daniel to reveal a timeline for the arrival of “Messiah the Prince”.

Daniel Chapter 10

Two to three years after the vision of Chapter 9,
Gabriel is again sent to Daniel to reveal details of
the great warfare between the forces of good and evil, 
in relation to the Persian empire.

Daniel Chapter 11

As a direct continuation of Chapter 10,
Daniel is given the key points in the battles between the powers of Earth and God, with a range of prophecies giving specific details in a timeline from the Medo-Persian empire, the Greek empire, the Roman empire, the Holy Roman empire, Islam and the Ottoman empire, and then the AntiChrist.

Daniel Chapter 12

Continuing from Chapter 11, Chapter 12 covers a time of unsurpassed stress, the Resurrections of the Dead, and specific time prophecies.
