Street Fighter 6 dropped its largest update yet last week to bring Akuma and the Season 2 balance patch to the game, and it seems the developers need to do a bit more work with it quite soon.
Capcom just announced a period of server maintenance coming for SF6 later this week that'll render online systems unusable for a number of hours.

MultiVersus went dark for basically an entire year to prepare for its full release that finally arrived this past week, but some players have been sharing sentiments that it feels more like a beta than it did before.

Street Fighter 6 DLC color bundles set to expire tomorrow though it could be for a good reason
Street Fighter 6 is just about to celebrate its first anniversary since releasing last year with quite a bit more content available now with the DLC characters, Outfit 3 selection, new stages and more.

Some of the best players to ever pick up fighting games recently took to playing Akuma, the latest DLC character for Street Fighter 6. These Legend sets have Akuma usage from prior Evo winners, Daigo Umehara, Tokido and Momochi up against top end competitors like Chris Wong, Nemo, Moke and KojiKOG.
This is a great way to see what Akuma looks like in the hands of some of the most skilled players in our community. There are 12 matches in total and they showcase Akuma going up against Ken, Blanka, Lily and Cammy.
Exhibition tournament second place finalist releases new tier list for MultiVersus
MultiVersus has only been out for a few days, but many players are already beginning to get a good feel for things. We recently saw the release of MultiVersus tier lists by VoiD and Nakat (who is also now involved in the development process for MultiVersus).
A few days ago, Liquid|Hungrybox hosted an invitational exhibition tournament for MultiVersus. Aside from pride and bragging rights, nothing was on the line, but players tried their best anyhow. MirrorMan was among the players invited to the event and was one of the favorites to win the whole thing, though he ultimately took second place with his Bugs Bunny.

Akuma, the powerful new DLC Shoto character, has a free flowing combo style in Street Fighter 6. The tool set he comes equipped with allows him to string many of his options together for flashy and hard-hitting combos, giving him access to great juggles, corner carry, and burst damage.
Extending beyond just his own tool set, though, Akuma can pull off some crazy stuff with the help of other characters. If Ed is on screen and activates his level 2 super, Akuma can actually hit a hilarious number of heavy punches all in the same combo.
