NSU programs boost student research, enriching the next generation of leading researchers. Yousef Alharbi is pursuing a Ph.D. in molecular medicine and pharmacogenomics from the Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy. He is currently studying gene expression patterns in breast cancer and the role of the environment, in an effort to learn more about what causes breast cancer and what treatments could be most effective.
