Every time I visit the bay, I have to stop by Saratoga Bagels. My favorite is their lox bagels, and their cream cheese is always soft, fluffy, and fresh.
There is parking available. The workers are, as usual, welcoming and friendly :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Diane Y.Santa Clara, CA450410Mar 30, 2024
I have been craving bagels recently and was so pleased to read the excellent reviews on Yelp. My husband picked up a sack of bagels with a tub of cream cheese and brought them to my folks before lunch time on Monday. The first thing I noticed was that the bagels did not seem fresh, at all. The cheese on the Asiago bagels was hard and looked old. The size of the bagels was inconsistent, some smaller, some rounder, some very flat. What they had in common was that they seemed to be at least two to three days old, and really had no give to them when squeezed. They were difficult to cut even, and when toasted with the cream cheese were okay, chewy but not appetizing. I'm sorry to have to write this but these were not freshly baked as advertised. I was bummed out, and to read about their health inspections where year after year things had not been improved has made me more cautious. I have a bag of about 8-9 bagels left and can't really eat them. So disappointed :(
And as we sometimes say, never again!
PS I think my husband paid $33+, so not worth it!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - 24776424Mar 29, 20241 check-in
Saratoga Bagels nestled in the heart of Huntsville, Alabama, is a bagel hole in the wall! The owner was very nice, and always brought on a smile. This cozy spot offers all the bagel flavors that you expect, such as everything, jalapeño, pesto, even chocolate.

Looks like this is a local favorite based on the line and familiarity of the customers. I was in the area and picked up bagels for a big group. I had a hard time placing my order, there was a language barrier and I think she was also new. Another lady finally stepped in seeing the struggle and it was fine after that. Good bagels!

First time trying this place. Lots of people coming and going which is a good sign. I tried the popular lox bagel and it was tasty. I would probably ask for less or no cream cheese in the future. Nice selection of bagels and choices.

Don't miss this local bagel store. Delicious spreads and do check out the omelette sandwiches. I tried their Baja Omlette Sandwich and it was delicious!
Service is attentive and prompt. Seating is limited.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 13, 2023
Came here on a Sunday morning around 9am. There was no line just before I got there but it got a little busier after that. The location and parking was super easy to navigate. Inside, you can see a display of all the bagels they offer as well as different flavored cream cheeses you can buy separately. There are 2 small tables and chairs but it seems like everybody takes their bagel to go. I wouldn't recommend planning to eat inside.
My friend and I split the Mediterranean on an everything bagel and the hummus on a pesto bagel. They were both AMAZING. The veggies tasted super fresh and the bagels were soft and flavorful. All the bagels are pre- cut which makes splitting them super easy.
I would definitely recommend coming here for any bagel cravings. My friend and I ended up going to Cupertino main street to grab coffee and eat.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 1, 2024
This is a reasonably good neighborhood bagel shop with a wide selection to pick from. The combo (i.e. "everything") bagel is probably their best along with the sesame and their pesto cheese bagel is pretty darn good too. As a general comment, their bagels lean toward the dense side and some of the bagels were not evenly rolled and formed, with one part that was much thinner than the rest. This made it a little difficult to slice in half and toast uniformly. But who am I kidding ... we slathered on the cream cheese and hoovered them down without any real complaint.

Got the #22 Lox Bagel on a jalepeno cheddar bagel. $11.95 pre-tax and $13.86 post tax. $5 minimum for card. Tasty bagel. Good lox and capers. Friendly and quick service. My first time seeing lettuce in a lox bagel. I'll ask for no lettuce next time (personal preference).
