Pert Near selected The Replacements’ “Can’t Hardly Wait” to cover as an experiment to see how we could translate their sound to our acoustic ensemble and style. The arrangement was prompted by our performance at First Ave‘s mainroom for the Waiting Days album release. It was so enjoyable to play that we decided to record our live version in the studio. May it represent our gratitude and be an homage to the incredible Twin Cities music scene.
