Hey, friends! I don’t usually make a lot of noise about awards, but I’m enormously proud of WHO BELONGS?, a comic book published by the New York City Department of Education that tells the history of Asians and Asian Americans who played a role in key legal cases ensuring citizenship and civil rights — and I’d be honored if you’d consider nominating it for the Ringo Awards.
You can download and read the book for FREE here.
And you can nominate the book and its creators for the Ringo Awards right here!
Anyone can participate in nominations for the Ringo Awards – both comic book pros and readers! And nominations close on Friday, so please don’t hesitate!
You can nominate the book for “Best Single Issue or Story,” “Best Non-Fiction Comic Work,” and “Best Kids Comic or Graphic Novel.” And you can nominate individual creative team members, including penciller and inker Jeremy Arambulo, colorist Irma Kniivila, letterer Janice Chiang, and writer Greg Pak (hey, that’s me!).
Thank you so much for your consideration, and I hope you enjoy the book!
