CyberPower, the website which lets you create the computer that is perfect for you, wins it’s 22nd award! This time it’s an Editor’s Choice award. It was given on Jan 1 2008 and marked the second Editor’s Choice award for them. The previous award was given on January 2007 with many different awards in between. CyberPower has also won many awards from PC Gamer and CNet as well as PCWorld and other websites. It sells computers for gaming and regular desktops as well as laptops. If you ever need a new computer then I would suggest CyberPower because they have a reputation for perfection. Most of the time their prices are low and are affordable for the average person. If you are seeking a great computer they will allow you to choose from different hardware. You can get an AMD processor and buy a 500 GB hard drive or if you want an 80 GB hard drive. CyberPower has an organized site and is easy and accessible to many people. They have a live-support system so if you have any concerns you can chat with an employee in as little as 5 minutes. They ship in one week or in 1 day if you want to pay more. Cyber Power is the ideal site if you want a new computer and is perfect for gamers as well as serious workers.

This year, LSU Offensive Coordinator Gary Crowton is having his quarterbacks play custom video games to help prepare and learn how to read defenses.

The game is designed by XOS Technologies, a company that specializes in technology for the use of coaches. They worked with EA Sports to produce the “PlayAction Simulator,” which LSU quarterbacks Matt Flynn and Ryan Perrilloux have used this year. Coach Crowton customizes the playbook to match the team’s. He can also adjust the difficulty level to correspond to the experience of the player.

“The video game is an excellent resource we have,” Perrilloux said. “Whenever we hit a play, that play would automatically match up with the defense that we would see or blitz we would see…If you make the wrong decision it’s an automatic interception or it’s an automatic incompletion.”

“The [game] is pretty realistic,” Crowton said. “It’s in position right now where we can really take off with it through the winter, going into spring ball and for next year. It’s still in its infant stages for us…but it’s been kind of fun for our guys.”

2007 has been an outstanding year for video games. Records are being broken everywhere – in some cases, not only just among video games. Halo 3 broke the record for the most sales in the first week, not only among video games, but entertainment period – shattering previous records of blockbuster movies. Bungie shamed Spider-Man 3, destroying the record with $300 million dollars in sales. With games like BioShock, The Orange Box, and Call of Duty 4, which won award after award, 2007 has certainly been a golden year for gaming.
