I’m back and preparing for a new season of events which will include many of our favorite venues. Cape Cod and Yellow Umbrella Books is on the list as well as some new stops near and far from home!

On 9/11/11 Sal & I honored our fallen heros of 2001, as did most Americans.

Then we ended the day by invitation to a new spot opening in Manchester, NH called Vino Aromas, where our son, Sal Junior, proposed to the love of his life! First time we were ever invited to a marriage proposal. It was bodacious!!!

 Dan and Nadine Villafranca will open Vino Aromas to the public on September 20, 2011. Vino Aromas is a wine retail store with a wine tasting room! Located at 997 Elm Street in downtown Manchester, NH. This is a ground-breaking concept that will surely be a great place to stop in when in the area. Vino aromas will showcase a variety of 80 to 100 wines from around the world, as well as local wine distributors. In front is a retail store and in the back is a  wine tasting room which has 7 tables to accommodate up to 22 customers.  There you can try up to 28 different wines in three different sizes: tasting, half glass or full glass.  They offer a small menu with a variety of platters that compliment the selection of wines; including cheeses, fruits and deli meats. You must see it to believe it! Sal & I will be there on their opening day.
