Shakespeare’s rarely performed comedy tells the story of a love that is so strong it causes a young woman to risk everything for the chance of happiness.
Romance, Love, Lust and True Virtue are hilariously examined in a fiendishly clever plot with all the inventive wit we expect, seasoned with the warmth and wisdom of an older generation who watch anxiously from the sidelines.
Peter Hambleton is one of the country’s most accomplished actor/directors – specialising in Shakespeare. He featured in Peter Jackson’s THE HOBBIT movie trilogy as grumpy, redheaded Dwarf Gloin, directed the award-winning EQUIVOCATION at Circa, and is a SGCNZ Shakespeare’s Globe Fellow.
All’s Well That Ends Well will be excitingly staged in a corner of Wellington’s magnificent Civic Square – with lots of speedy action and laughs using bikes, skateboards and a madcap variety of anything and everything on wheels.

Hi Jo. The season dates are Friday 17 February – Saturday 4 March. No show Monday’s. The matinees will be Sunday’s. This is an outdoor production, yes? We all know the weather hasn’t been good this year. How can we commit ourselves by buying a ticket ahead of time, only to have the weather cause either cancellation, or me to hide indoors?
Hi Ellen. The weather is in the lap of the Gods! If you book in advance it would be good to book for early in the season. In the event the show is cancelled due to rain, there will be a note on our website 3 hours prior. In that event, tickets can be used for another performance, or a refund can be issued by Eventfinda.

Hi Gail. Just grandstands for this production. A sandchair wouldn’t fit anywhere except centre stage!
