Our Adult English as a Second Language (ESL) Program provides high quality, goal-driven English language instruction to eligible individuals to gain the language skills necessary to be self-sufficient, adapt to life in the U.S., and contribute as productive members of society.
SCSEP is a U.S. Department of Labor funded employment and training program. NAPCA SCSEP concentrates on serving limited- and non-English speaking Asian and Pacific Islander seniors.
With support from the National Council on Aging, we offers the following fivecore benefits: Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP); SNAP (Previously known as Food Stamps); Medicaid; Medicare Savings Program (MSP) ; Part D Extra Help (LIS Prescription Drug Extra Help)
CCC became a HUD Affiliate in late 2008 and we are the only HUD Affiliate in Texas with the ability to provide linguistically appropriate services in Chinese and Vietnamese. We are also a partner of the City of Houston’s Homebuyer Assistance Program.
FOC is a career and personal financial service center that focus on the financial bottom line for low-to-moderate income individuals, which is one of five in the Houston area. Our services across three areas: Employment Placement and Career Improvement; Financial Education and Coaching; Public Benefits Access
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to household who make up to $58,000, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.
