At Foundation Recovery, we open our doors to everyone seeking addiction treatment. Our nondenominational Christian rehab is a supportive haven using evidence-based treatment approaches & faith-based principles. Jesus Christ is at the heart of everything we do, from medical detox to aftercare programs.
We believe the only way for lasting healing and recovery is through the blood of Jesus. Faith, Love and Hope will be taught and studied with Christian Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors. Your identity in Christ will be revealed and unconditional love will be experienced. Many programs like Celebrate Recovery are offered.
Gender-based programs create safe spaces to discuss issues related to addiction that are different for men and women. Relationships between newly sober people aren’t advised in the early stages of recovery. Gender-specific rehab and Gender-separate facilities avoid this barrier to treatment.
In Equine Therapy, Men acquire vital relationship skills and heal by forming emotional bonds with horses. Substance abuse leads to challenges. Men become better equipped to nurture positive relationships with others after establishing a healthy connection with horses. This diminishes the reliance on addictive substances as a coping mechanism for social & emotional anxiety.
Your days are planned. Our daily schedule is meant to instill structure and accountability – two principles necessary in achieving long-term sobriety. Spirit Filled Programs, Nutritious Food, 24/7 high quality care and Evidence-Based Treatment will get you healed, rested and ready for you to step into the Masterpiece God created you to be.
For decades, twelve-step programs have been at the forefront of addiction recovery, assisting countless men in overcoming substance abuse, revitalizing their roles as dads, sons, and brothers, and achieving success in their careers.
Your body is your temple. The Chef will create nutritious meals three times a day. Many of the seasonal herbs, fruits and vegetables will be from our garden that the men help cultivate and grow.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ensures that people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else. This includes people with addiction to alcohol and people in recovery from opioids and other drugs.
Addiction is considered a disability because it is an impairment that affects the brain and neurological functions. Addiction to alcohol and the illegal use of drugs are treated differently under the ADA. Addiction to alcohol is generally considered a disability whether the use of alcohol is in the present or in the past. For people with an addiction to opioids and other drugs, the ADA only protects a person in recovery who is no longer engaging in the current illegal use of drugs.
The federal Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988 provides fair housing protections to individuals with disabilities in virtually every type of housing. The fundamental purpose of the Act is to prohibit practices that “restrict the choices” of people with disabilities to live where they wish or “that discourage or obstruct choices in a community, neighborhood or development.
The State of Texas Fair Housing Statute is substantially equivalent to the federal Act. The Texas Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in rental, leasing and sales transactions including failing or refusing to make reasonable accommodations that are necessary to provide equal opportunity in housing.
The rules for homeowner associations, just like cities, cannot violate federal law. Any special rules or requirements placed upon a group home by a homeowners association could be in conflict with federal law.
