The Nittany Co-Op knows what makes this town a special place. It’s the people who join together to achieve the goal of making the State College community better. Our Members: Greek Organizations, Local Nonprofits, Student Organizations and Alumni Groups, all share a passion for a particular cause. Whether it’s bringing shelter to those less fortunate or raising funds to fight pediatric cancer, our Members are fighting battles everyday to help others. Also leading this charge are our Vendors: local businesses that offer the products and services needed in order for our Members to operate strong organizations.

Where does Nittany Co-Op fit in? We match up the Members with the Vendors who can best help them achieve their objectives. We also manage the logistics between Members and Vendors, creating an efficient process of purchasing (many times at a discount for our Members), invoicing and submitting payments. Utilizing Nittany Co-Op to handle these day-to-day tasks allows the Member organizations to focus on making their groups stronger.

Nittany Co-Op offers an “all hands in” approach. It’s about joining together individuals, groups and local businesses. Our goal is to encourage bonds within our Member organizations and to connect Vendors to the Members they can help. With Nittany Co-Op supporting both Members and Vendors to make them both stronger units, we aim to build a successful cooperative community.
