What I Like About Jew is the musical comedy duo of Sean Altman and Rob Tannenbaum, who've been called "the Bart Simpsons of the Yeshiva" by Time Out New York, and "the Simon & Garfunkel of ethnic gag songs" by The Boston Globe.

The duo was featured in Time Out's cover story on "The New Super Jews," and has been hailed in The New Yorker, The New York Times, NPR's "Fresh Air" with Terry Gross, and Philadelphia Weekly, which said: "Nothing compares to the bawdy borscht-belt comedy of Altman and Tannenbaum, who take Catskills seltzer-bottle humor to a dirty new low, with lyrics that make Lenny Bruce look like a choirboy."

Bios

SEAN ALTMAN was described as "absurdly talented" by the Village Voice. He is a founder and former leader of the vocal group Rockapella, which starred on the PBS TV series "Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?" for which Sean co-wrote the theme song. In 2005 he was named "Best Male Artist" in the International Acoustic Music Awards and was a Kerrville New Folk finalist. He is a member of the Loser's Lounge series in New York and the groups Kol Zimra, Voices For Israel and The GrooveBarbers.

ROB TANNENBAUM was described as "snarky" by The Village Voice and "diminutive" by The Boston Globe. He earned his first theatrical credit for helping John Leguizamo write "Sexaholix," a Tony-nominated Broadway comedy. The music editor of Blender magazine and a member of the Jewish-owned media elite, he created and starred in the VH1 special "So Jewtastic," which aired last December, and writes for Playboy magazine. Like a pork chop, he's bad to the bone.
