Worthing Quaker Meeting

Religious Society of Friends

Welcome to our Quaker Meeting House and garden!

We will be pleased to see you as a user of our hall and facilities, or visitor at our Meetings for Worship.

We meet every Sunday from 10.30 to 11.30.

Everyone is welcome to join our Meetings and share our fellowship with tea and coffee after.

What is a Quaker Meeting like?

With the peace and warmth of welcome, people have described it as a feeling of ‘coming home’.

Our Meetings for Worship are held in expectant  silence, without a programme or a priest.

The Quaker Meeting is found on the north side of Mill Road (A259) between Grand Avenue and West Avenue, ten minutes’ walk from West Worthing station and five minutes from Goring shopping parade.
The 700 and ‘The Pulse’ buses stop in Mill Road (Grand Avenue stop). Please park in West Avenue, not the Meeting House grounds as we have limited space which is reserved for users with mobility problems; but of course you may drive up to the door to drop off any passengers.
We have full disabled access on the ground  floor and a stair lift to the Meeting room and library.

To find out more about our risk assessment, safety measures, social distancing rules, do contact our warden on 07904643350.
