About
Cathy is an experienced travel journalist, editor and editorial consultant based in London, currently working for The Times and The Sunday Times.
Before that, Cathy was head of travel for The Independent (and formerly the Evening Standard)…and before that, she lived in Hong Kong, working as deputy editor of Cathay Pacific’s Discovery magazine.
Cathy is often on the radio (BBC, LBC, Times Radio) and TV (Channel 5) talking about travel issues.
She has written for publications including The Times, The Sunday Times, The Independent, the Evening Standard, Lonely Planet, Travel + Leisure, The Telegraph, National Geographic Traveller (UK), CNN, Escapism, The Guardian, TheWeek.co.uk and Square Mile. She has also worked with a number of inflight and hotel magazines for brands including Etihad, Cathay Pacific, British Airways, Turkish Airlines and Mandarin Oriental.
