    Yaki Yaki Yakitori!

    Keith and I finally got a chance to visit Yakitori 39 in Teaneck, NJ. It’s a small Japanese restaurant that serves many different pub foods with appetizers, different types of yakitoris, and some entrees. The flavors are authentic and are not seasoned overpowering. It was a light meal, but still filled up our stomaches!

    Here are some of the items that we devoured:

    (First to last: Silken tofu with kimchi, asparagus with bacon, enoki with bacon, chicken breast with wasabi, chicken thighs with scallion, tori soboro, and uni don)

    Hello All !

    I haven’t posted in awhile as I started my first career job at Yoana Baraschi in June 2012. I got lucky, since it was only a few weeks since my college graduation.

    Since I work at the country club every summer, that was my main job after graduation. I was not expecting or fully serious about looking for a job yet. I wanted to rest for a bit. Things got a little crazy; therefore, I pressured and pushed myself into applying to every job that my experience and skills could relate to.

    Browsing through Stylecareers.com, I applied to a few entry-level jobs that suited best for me. The next day, Jed, from the hiring agency called me regarding an entry-level production assistant job at Yoana Baraschi. I was a bit skeptic at first since I have never gotten an answer from the website before.

    I met with the hiring agency the next day (Thurs), in which I was scheduled for an interview at YB. Jed prepped me before I headed over; the interview the production director went well. I was relaxed, yet nervous since I’ve never done this professionally before. After the interview, I was called back the next day to meet Yoana.

    On Monday, I found out I got the job !! I started the week after on June 20.
