‘Hi’ GuitarsUK - the ‘Hi’ comes from the first two letters of my surname - ‘Hinchliffe’
I design and hand-make a wide range of quality hand-crafted electric stringed instruments.
As a luthier with over 14 years experience, I make bespoke electric ukuleles, bouzoukis, guitars, basses, stick dulcimers, deluxe solid-body cigar box style instruments and other one-off instruments.
My workshop and shop premises are both located in the charming and beautiful town of Pateley Bridge, near Harrogate, which is at the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, England. However, if you can't visit, you can still experience hand-made quality by visiting the shop's website.
My customers appreciate my careful design approach, attention to detail and extensive experience, I build for function and playability whilst constructing to give the best possible sound. The instruments I make are for experienced or beginner players who want a high quality individually hand-crafted item rather than something mass-produced.
