Financial Aid Awarded to Vocational Training Graduate
The Hon. Prof. Julius Ihonvbere’s Vocational skill training programme organized for youths in Owan Federal Constituency, is yielding positive results daily.
Amidst the Covid19 pandemic, Miss. Blessing Samuel from Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State, one of the beneficiaries of the Vocational Training Programme has demonstrated and put into use, knowledge gained during the training.
While we never heard from the majority of the beneficiaries, Miss. Samuel has not only kept in touch, but has also continued to produce beautiful works and show efforts to improve herself.
For her dexterity, creativity and hard work, the office of Hon. Prof. Julius O. Ihonvbere (OON) has pledged financial support to aid Miss Samuel in setting up her business.
The Sustainability strategies adopted by Heritage & Sports Colony International, aimed at building skills of trainees are yielding tremendous outputs.

The Federal Lawmaker representing Owan East/West Federal Constituency and Chairman, Committee on Basic Education & Services, Hon. Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, OON, has expressed great concern over the increasing cases of the COVID-19 Virus recorded in Nigeria recently.
In a message made available to press, [he] appealed to constituents on the need to stay safe, adhere and follow strictly, health tips issued by medical experts.
“My dear Owan people. This is an APPEAL. Take the Coronavirus very seriously. It is a deadly virus. It has humbled nations. It is destroying powerful businesses.
Hon. Ihonvbere, noting the increasing cases recorded so far according to report from the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), urged citizens to follow the precautionary measures issued by the Federal Government and other relevant agencies, by ensuring regular washing of hands, use of hand sanitizer, avoiding social gatherings of any kind, embrace the social distancing measures and other safety tips in preventing the further spread of the virus.
