During filming a lot of unexpected things happened, and most of them are not in the original videos. Because they are either bloopers or make me look ridiculous and inept. Surprise! Jeanine Sings With The Band In a Live Performance! Filmed at Mark and Patty Abrahams Wedding Anniversary My wonderful editor, Charles Laurence, sent me this long forgotten video today. I had completely forgotten about this performance and was totally surprised to receive it and watch it. Thank You Charles! The quality is not the best because it was filmed so many years ago. However, I am sharing it with you because mama could sing! Oh yeah, it sounds like that girl knew something about the blues! I would like to thank the band and especially the extraordinary saxophone player! I must tell you that we did not rehearse this song "Since I Fell For You" before we performed it on stage live. Sweet Dreamers 😴 A New Video From Jeanine (A Lifelong Dreamer) I dreamed about this video. In fact, as I was sleeping, I was making the video. I added photos and artwork and edited it. However, when I woke up there was no video! So the next day I got to work. I chose some beautiful music from the Epidemic Sound music library first. I find that as I am editing and adding content, the music is so inspiring. For this video I chose the song “A Close Friend" by musician Christophe German. It is beautiful and dreamy and perfect for the images you will see. I really hope that you as my viewers enjoy the music, because I believe that it is an essential component when experiencing a video. As a singer/songwriter/musician myself, I appreciate a well written and beautifully performed piece of music. So thank you Christophe! Featured Dreamers: Actors, Dancers and Musicians. All creative artists begin with a dream. Opening the video are two images of Marilyn Monroe: one is an artwork and one is a photo. Back in the day before she was famous, she was a young dreamer and a studio contract player along with some other aspiring actresses. Do you recognize any of them in the photo? In my dream video creation, I saw this artwork as a first image. Also featured is some dreamy art from my own artist friends Christine, Maureen and Chris Kelly. The dancers are represented in a favorite painting by Degas, Flamenco joy and my own parents. They were avid folk dancers for many years and met at a folk dancing event. I love this photo of them. 🐕 Just Me Bree 🥰 A Video By Jeanine Made For Our OG Bree We adopted Miss Bree when she was eight weeks old from a local shelter. It was hard to tell exactly what kind of a breed blend she was, but we knew it was your basic Mutt Mix. A little of this and a little of that. This was not our first doggie rescue adoption, so we had an idea of what to look for in a new pup. Ideally you want to choose a dog who is healthy, alert, friendly, smart, responsive and who likes you. Miss/Ms Bree met all the criteria. And she was cute! She was one of a litter of 8 and had 2 sisters competing for our attention. Both of my kids immediately bonded with Bree so the decision was made and we brought her home. Adopting a new pet is a decision that should not be taken lightly. You are making a commitment to this new family member that may be for the next 16 years if you are so lucky. It will include a lot of joy and lot of vet bills over the years. So please remember when choosing your own next fur baby that it will be a responsibility you need to be prepared for in many ways. But the love that you give will be returned 1000 times over in unconditional love and gratitude from your “Bree”. My son named her Breezy which became shortened to Bree, but she is also known by several other names: 🙈 “Professional Troublemaker” 🙉”Stop that!" 🙊”Hey you!" And whatever comes to mind when addressing your baby dog/cat/hamster/reptile/other pet. “Hey You” is almost 13 years old now and experiencing some of the rather unwelcome symptoms of old age. I call her stubborn and senile. She exemplifies both. Her senility began around a year ago with an increasing annoying incessant barking at everything and nothing. All day and all night. To make this situation “lemonade from lemons” I have used this barking behavior as a theme for several new videos, including a series I have titled “Cooking With Barking Dogs" Our video opens with one of my favorite short clips of Bree destroying a snowball. My son sings her theme song “Breezy the Snowball Killer” ☃️ You will also see a precious video clip of my son with our brand new eight week old puppy on his lap singing “Don't You Want Somebody To Love?” Substituting “some puppy” for “somebody”. I have included photos and videos of Bree over the years in no particular order. We have never regretted our decision to adopt. Adopt don't shop! And this star of our video has given us amazing gifts of laughter, wonderful memories, and above all love.
