Micah Zak: Artist, Programmer, Writer, Engineer

Welcome to the wonderful world of my mind. It's anything but normal. Full of fanciful characters, true love, holy justice, merciful forgiveness, and wicked abstractions, it's someplace I could stay for a while and often do. When I'm not drawing and writing, I'm running around inside code loops and application programming interfaces or planning out my next website CRM or CMS, fixing clients' antiquated systems, or consulting on new projects. Then, I'm a dad of four beautiful daughters, who are the world to me.

Micah The Artist

My drawings are powerful, fanciful, and full of character and passion. I love drawing men and women, both real and from my own imagination. I love beautiful things, colorful things, well-formed things, detailed things, and all things chaotic and random.

Micah The Programmer

I've been writing code since I was 12 when I wrote my first platforming games on a 286. Ever since then, I've loved the logic of coding and how it does exactly what you want, every time you ask it to. It's not complicated or changes its mind. Its dependable and can be used by and gives benefit to others.

Micah The Writer

Writing has always been a part of my life. From my first stories of teen action and romance to my more adult/mature works that pretty much focus on the exact same thing, bringing God into all of them was always my focus. Today, I know that God is already there, and it's my job to write characters that reflect Him and His nature, fighting against the twisting of reality and truth we as fallen creatures introduce into our world... and I love it.

Micah The Engineer

Bringing order to chaos is such a delight. To see a problem and know your craft well enough to be able to present a solution to a client is what makes me enjoy what I do. It makes a client a friend and turns work into service. My first application was for a print shop in Chicago, and that started my career.

New languages, new problems, new platforms, always a challenge, but always a great experience to bring functionality to series of aggravations.

I hope you enjoy my website. I've been through a lot in my life and never let anything keep me down. I love people and love looking at other work and discussing creative projects.

If you'd like to chat, hit me up on social media! I enjoy Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Also, I never check my LinkedIn. Peace!
