Our Aims

New Mills Local History Society is in New Mills(!), in the High Peak district of Derbyshire. The aims of the Society are:-

1. To promote study and research into the history of the New Mills area.

2. To convey the history of the New Mills area to a wider audience.

3. To secure the preservation and protection of items of interest relating to the history of the New Mills area.

Meetings

Our meetings are held in New Mills Town Hall (SK22 4AT), on Friday evenings (usually), starting at 7:45pm.
