Western Australian Team Penning Association Inc. (WATPA) is a family-friendly club that takes pride in promoting the sport of Ranch Sorting catering to all abilities and ages from 8 years old to Masters.  We are based at Valley Views Equestrian Centre in the Chittering Valley.

Competition is hosted bi-monthly starting in January and continuing throughout the year and new competitors/members are always welcome.

RANCH SORTING

Ranch sorting is a western-style equestrian sport involving a team of two riders on horseback, riding against the clock. Working as a team, the riders cut out the correct cattle and drive them to the pen while keeping the wrong numbered cattle back. WATPA introduced Ranch Sorting in 2016.
