The book of Revelation is about Jesus! The first sentence in the first chapter says it all, “The Revelation of the Jesus Christ.” In this new Sunday morning series, we are going to take a deep dive and see the way Jesus is portrayed in the book of Revelation. It may not be what we normally think of Jesus, but it is essential for us to learn in order to understand what is happening in our world today and in the future.
The book of Revelation is probably the most read, but least studied book in the Bible. Many churches will not teach this book because they find it too confusing. But it doesn’t have to be this way, because there is a divine outline in chapter 1 that is the key to understanding the rest of the book. Revelation is also the only book in the Bible that promises a blessing to everyone who reads, hears, and takes to heart all that it reveals (Revelation 1:3).
