Liberia

African Bible Colleges' first campus was established in 1976 in Yekepa, Northeastern Liberia. Our campus is located at the foot of the beautiful Nimba Mountain, away from the busyness and struggle of Monrovia.

Reverend Jack Chinchen and Nell Chinchen

FOUNDERS

Reverend Jack Chinchen and Nell Chinchen started African Bible Colleges in 1976 to provide Christian education in Africa. The first ABC campus opened in Liberia that year, followed by campuses in Malawi (1988) and Uganda (2005).

Dr. Paul Chinchen

FORMER HEAD OF MISSION

Dr. Paul Chinchen, the son of Jack and Nell Chinchen, African Bible Colleges' second President and CEO, passed away in July 2022. He created support ministries for African Bible College, including Master's/Online Programs, Mission Hospital, Christian Academy, African Business Institute, Briquette Project, Project Juembo, Aviation, and STEM High School.

 

He devoted his life to serving Christian changemakers in Africa.
