IIT Roorkee Alumni Association of North America ("IITRAANA" or "IIT-RAANA") serves all alumni of the Roorkee College, Thomason College of Engineering, Roorkee, University of Roorkee and IIT Roorkee along with all members of teaching staff, as defined in IIT Roorkee ordinance, with 2 year standing at IIT Roorkee including Director, residing in Canada and United States.

Announcement: Election 2021 Result
IIT Roorkee Alumni Association of North America (“IIT-RAANA”) elections for the voluntary position of President of the association were held and Mr Vipin Goswami was elected to the voluntary position of President-elect of the association, who will be President of the association beginning Jan 1st, 2022, for a period of 2 years.

On behalf of the IIT-RAANA Election Committee and Voting Control team, I am pleased to announce Mr. Vipin Goswami as elected to the voluntary position of President-elect of the association, who will be President of the association beginning Jan 1st, 2022, for a period of 2 years.
We thank all the candidates for their commitment and passion for service to our alumni. We look forward to their continued engagement in alumni service.
We thank all of you, our esteemed alumni, for the support and engagement during this process.
Elections were held using industry standard campaign management software. It has strong system integrity to meet regulations though it was not as user friendly as one would like.
A dedicated Voting Control team managed the voting process with sole access to the voting process and information to ensure the integrity of the process.
Anyone providing support to Voting Control team, for the process or the tool, did it without access to the voting data.
Election Committee reviewed the results with Voting Control team and then with candidates before certifying them for the elections.
We appreciate your time for valuable feedback and suggestions, which have been recorded for improvement.
Personally, I thank many of the alumni who came forward with comments, feedback and suggestion to improve this process. Last but not the least, immense thanks are due to our Election Committee, who for months have provided guidance and support to make this happen, and Voting Control team, who stepped in the last few weeks to ensure the high integrity of the process.
