Attendance Matters!

Attendance is very important for student learning. A student should only be absent in the event of an emergency or if the student is sick. If this occurs please make sure the proper documentation is sent to Ms. Gina Lopez (Glopez@newheightsacademy.org). In the event your child needs to have a medical appointment, we encourage parents to schedule them on Wednesdays in the afternoon when students are dismissed early.

We no longer offer virtual classes, UNLESS a child has COVID.

Finally, it is very important for families to plan their travel during the vacation break. Students miss instructional time when they leave early or return late from vacation. Extended vacations are NOT considered excused absences. Please plan vacations during the allotted time.
