The plight of Sri Lanka's neediest children is desperate and urgent. They suffer as innocent victims not only of persistent ethnic conflict, poverty, alcoholism and violence directed against women and children, but also in many cases they have been traumatized by losing family members, friends, home and belongings to the tsunami catastrophe.

Our mission is to improve the health, sanitation, nutrition, education, and general well-being of poor and needy children living in remote areas of Sri Lanka.

Our projects address the individual needs of Sri Lanka's most disadvantaged children: orphans, tsunami-affected children, and handicapped children.

Our approach is to identify needy children in remote areas, match them with donors seeking to assist exactly such children, and facilitate small scale projects that match donors' aims with the needs of individual children.
