As spring warms up, the troop will be heading out on a canoeing trip. We'll be canoeing on Lake Jordan in central NC. The troop will camp Friday and Saturday nights in the same location and will spend the day Saturday canoeing around the lake. We'll stop along the way to eat lunch on the banks of the lake. Join us for this easy day of paddling and enjoying the spring weather!

Northern Tier crew: this is an import prep event and everyone in the crew should plan to attend this trip.

June 30^th - July 6^th, 2024

For 2024 the scouts of Troop 97 have decided to return to an old favorite - Camp Daniel Boone in Western NC.

July 27th - August 7th, 2024

Late summer 2024 the troop is headed back to the high adventure base at Northern Tier in Ely, MN. The troop will spend a week canoeing in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness of northern Minnesota.

Please keep an eye out for more information from the troop including planning meetings and preparations sessions during 2023/24.
