Welcome to the Official Website for the Cranberry Volunteer Fire Company
We are a 100% volunteer organization established in 1959 providing fire and rescue services to the residents of Cranberry Township. The Fire Company created a unique agreement with the Township in 1981, which transferred the assets of the Company to Cranberry Township. As part of the agreement, the township provides financial support for building maintenance, equipment, and apparatus. In return the professionals of the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company spend their volunteer time training, providing Fire Safety Education, and responding to emergency calls. This is a unique arrangement in southwestern Pennsylvania, and is a model of cooperation between local government and volunteerism.

Washroom Project
Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company, May 16

Big shout out and THANK YOU to Cranberry Township public works for the work and the relief association ... (Full Story & Photos)

Preventative Maintenance Training
Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company, May 12
This weekend we hosted a 16 hour apparatus preventative maintenance program. The program taught our members what to look for, what to do, and who to call on these incredibly intricate machines.
We also had one other member away becoming an EVDT trainer- this makes our 6th in house drivers training instructor.
Our focus this week will turn to our preparation for the upcoming 24 hour ERS that ... (Full Story & Photos)
