In a bid to enhance tourism and business relations, Thailand has announced that it will be exempting Japanese business travelers from visa requirements for a three-year period, beginning next year.
Thailand has waived visa requirements for Japanese business travelers from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026. This decision was made by the Thai Cabinet on December 12, 2023. Japanese nationals with passports or travel documents can enter Thailand for business purposes and stay for up to 30 days without the need for a visa [1]. This move aims to facilitate business visits and strengthen economic ties between Thailand and Japan.
