GENEALOGIST IN RESIDENCE
 
Sponsored by the Lewes Historical Society and the Sussex County Genealogical Society, the Genealogist in Residence program is on the first Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Reading Room at The Lewes History Museum, 101 Adams Avenue, Lewes, DE.
 
Members of the Sussex County Genealogical Society will be available to help anyone who has questions about their family tree.  The members, who are seasoned searchers, come from different areas and can help, no matter where your family came from.  The Lewes Historical Society Archives Family Files will be available for research.
 

Calling All Roots Magic Users!
 
 
SCGS is pleased to host a Special Interest Group dedicated to the use of the Roots Magic Genealogy software program. Both members and Non-members are invited to join our bi-monthly users group that meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM via Zoom. Participants share their experiences, explore the many tools within the robust program and aid each other in the use of the Root’s Magic software. Most users have moved to Roots Magic 9 but some are still using earlier versions. Members use either Windows or Mac versions of the software.
