Registration for the BIG AL 3 on 3 is now open!!!

It's Saturday, June 15th 2024 at the Kazlousky Outdoor Courts. 

The cost is $60.00 per team. Each team can have up to 4 players. Registration closes on Sunday, June 9th.

The team grade is the grade the player was in this current school year. 

3rd - 6th grade - check in will start at 8:00am with games starting at 9:00am. 

7th - 8th grade - check in will start at 10:30am with games starting at 11:00am. 

High School and Alumni - check in will start at 11:30 with games starting at 12:00. 

*High school and Alumni divisions are limited to 6 teams each. 

If there is inclement weather all games will be played in the Scituate High School gyms. 

Registration for 2024 Summer Slam will open soon. Summer Slam is an opportunity for kids to continue to develop their skills during the offseason. It's a combination of skills and drills and scrimmaging.

Sessions are split into groups by grade and gender. It will run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays nights at the Kazlousky Outdoor Courts from July 8th - Aug 15th. The cost is $30.00 per child which includes a Summer Slam reversible jersey. 

Also, this summer we are going to offer an open gym for 6th, 7th and 8th grade boys and girls on Wednesday nights at The Vet. Open Gym will run from July 10th to Aug 14th. Girls will go from 6:00 - 7:30 and boys will go from 7:30 - 9:00. This is only for boys and girls who will be going into either 6th, 7th or 8th grade for the 2024-25 school year. 

Registration for the 2024 - 25 season will start in September. 

South Shore Girls Basketball League - Scituate girls A teams play in this league - 5th through 8th grade

South Shore Youth Boys Basketball League - Scituate boys A, B, and C teams all play in this league, grades 4th through 8th.

Old Colony Girls Basketball - Scituate 4th grade girls teams and B teams for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade

Starland Winter Basketball League - Scituate 3rd grade boys and girls teams.

The SBA's mission is to promote and support competitive youth basketball teams, enhance and improve player's skills, fundamentals, and foster a positive environment of sportsmanship and teamwork, along with character development.  To the greatest degree possible, the SBA and its' coaches adapt their programs to be in alignment with Scituate High School boys and girls programs in terms of philosophy and tactics.

The SBA may partner with, work and cooperate with individuals and other entities, groups, organizations, officials, and private and public governmental agencies.

Registration For the 2024 - 25 winter season will start in September with tryouts being conducted in October.  Kids do need to attend both tryout dates for their grade. 

Practices will begin in November with games starting the first weekend in December.
