Billot, Brown lead FHS Top 10 seniors for Class of 2024

  The final exams have been completed and the grades compiled for the Frankenmuth High School Class of 2024.

  With graduation set for 8pm Thursday, May 30 on the FHS football field, FHS Principal JoLynn Clark is proud to announce this year’s valedictorian, salutatorian, and the entire Top 10 seniors for 2024.

  The following seniors have the highest cumulative grade point averages after eight semesters of instruction at FHS.

  “These students have not only consistently performed at the highest levels academically, they have also successfully passed a combined total of 31 Advanced Placement (AP) courses (score of 3 or higher), and during the 2023-24 school year, these 10 seniors collectively attempted another 39 AP exams that can translate into additional college credit,” Clark stated.

 These10 students have not only performed well in the classroom, but in athletics, clubs and service to the school district and community.

  �yond academics, they have been active participants in sports and other school-sponsored clubs and activities, have volunteered as part of the National Honor Society (NHS) service requirements, and have maintained part-time jobs and other roles within the community. We applaud and recognize their diligent efforts and their achievement of this recognition,” Clark said.

  The seniors are:

  Anna Billot, the daughter of Jill and Doug Billot, is the class valedictorian. Robert Brown, the son of Kathyrn and Chad Reaman and Robert Brown, is the class salutatorian.

  Rounding out the Top 10 are, in alphabetical order:

  Hunter Bernthal, the son of Karly and Nathan Bernthal;

  Kennedy Crandall, the daughter of Julie Damm and Jason Crandall;

  Logan Lipka, the son of Bethany and Jason Lipka;

  Shivani Manyam, the daughter of Neelima and Praveen Manyam;

  Kaitlyn Miller, the daughter of Karen and Scott Miller;

  Mary Richmond, the daughter of Natalie and Scott Richmond;

  Brendan Scharrer, the son of Trish and Richard Scharrer and;

  Kennedie Thomas, the daughter of Hollie and David Thomas.

  In the event of inclement weather, the commencement exercises will be moved into the FHS gym. Dan Abraham, a FHS Class of 1990 graduate, will be the commencement speaker.
