All in One SEO Pack
This is probably the mother of all WordPress SEO plugins. That’s why it’s also my favorite SEO-related plugin for WordPress. This plugin automatically optimizes your blog for search engines. The best part of this plugin is that you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to use it. Everything is really straightforward and a lot of the functions are automated. This plugin is also useful for advanced users, giving them the possibility to customize post titles, descriptions and keywords. You can also change the link structure for each page.
Google XML Sitemap Generator
Another essential tool for every WordPress blogger. This plugin generates a XML-Sitemap compliant sitemap of your WordPress blog. The XML sitemap helps search engines to better index your blog. This format is supported by Ask.com, Google, YAHOO and MSN Search.
SEO Smart Links
SEO Smart Links can automatically link keywords and phrases in your posts and comments with corresponding posts, pages, categories and tags on your blog. This plugin allows you to set up your own keywords and set of matching URLs. Finally SEO Smart links allows you to set nofollow attribute and open links in new window.
SEO Friendly Images
Manually optimizing your images for SEO can be a long and boring task. Thankfully, you could also use the SEO friendly images plugin. This plugin automatically adds alt and title attributes to all your images. If your images do not have ALT and TITLE already set, SEO Friendly Images will add them according the options you set. Additionally this makes the post W3C/xHTML valid as well.
SEO Rank Reporter
SEO has always been about competing against other blogs. That’s why PageRank is an essential part of SEO. Based on keywords you choose, the SEO Rank Reporter plugin will track your Google rankings every 3 days and report the data in an easy-to-read graph. You will also be able to visualize your traffic flow in response to ranking changes and receive emails notifying you of major rank changes.
