A New Style

As you can see, the new blog layout and colors are a bit different from the first one. In my opinion was my first blog layout a bit small. This time we have a much bigger post section and a lot of extra features in the sidebar.

First of all, there are four different 125x125px ad spots. There’s also a bigger 250x310px ad spot available. You can find more information about these ad spots on the advertising page.

There’s also a live tweet section. In this box you’ll find some of my most recent tweets. Ow, and if you’re interested you can follow me on twitter too.

Community

You might have already noticed the Flickr feed. I’ve created a new group called ‘Inspirational Artwork‘. In this group you can post your own designs or inspirational artwork that was made by others. Don’t forget to credit the original author though!

You can upload all sorts of designs: illustrations, logos, photographs, typography… The more the better. Please contact me if you have any remarks or suggestions considering this Flickr group.

Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow…

This might also be a good time to take a look at the past of this little blog. I started this blog in February 2009 and it has grown ever since. Here are a few statistics:

Last month we had 51620 unique visitors and 126641 page views. On August 17 we had 10296 unique visitors on one day 23824 page views. The most popular post was ‘The beauty of lightning storms‘ (28366 visits) followed by ‘40 awesome dual screen wallpapers‘ (22206 visits).

So TheRoxor.com has been growing slow but steady for the last couple of months. I hope we can continue this trend in the future. You can always contact me with suggestions for improvement.
