This video explores the impact of Facebook by using some Facebook statistics e.g. number of users, growth, average number of friends, mobile usage,… It was created by Jean-Jacques Parys who made this video for a university infographic project.
The State of the Internet
This video was designed and animated by JESS3 for a lecture at AIGA Baltimore in Februari 2010. This infographic video once again shows how big the internet is. You’ll learn how many videos the average internet user watches in one month, how many servers it takes to keep Facebook up,… Finally, you’ll see a timeline that shows the launch date of major social network sites.
History of the Internet
We’re all using the internet, but few people know exactly how this great medium was born. “History of the Internet” is an animated documentary explaining the inventions from time-sharing to filesharing, from Arpanet to Internet. A beautiful and informative video by Melih Bilgil.
This is a short film (a fast paced preview of a larger effort) by MAYA Design created to put some perspective on the invisible but fast approaching challenges and opportunities in the pervasive computing age. This video will amaze you with some truly mind-boggling numbers.
Röyksopp – Remind Me
This the music video for ‘Remind Me’ by Rÿksopp, directed by Ludovic Houplan & Hervé de Crécy. It isn’t a classic example of infographics, but it uses the style to tell a story. Needless to say that this great video won the 2002 MTV Europe Music Award for best music video.
I know the title might be a bit confusing, but this is actually a reinterpretation of the classic fairytale ‘Red Riding Hood’. This awesome infographic video was made by Thomas Nilsson and it was inspired by Röyksopps ‘Remind Me’ (the previous video).
